EatSmart fans will continue to select a Charity of the Month in 2017. Fans will submit short stories about the charity’s mission and why it’s meaningful to them. We began our Charity of the Month donations in 2011.
In honor of Spinal Muscular Atrophy Awareness Month, we’ve selected The Gwendolyn Strong Foundation as our charity for August 2017.

The Gwendolyn Strong Foundation (theGSF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing global awareness of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), the #1 genetic killer of young children, accelerating research focused on ending this cruel disease, and supporting families impacted by SMA and other life-altering conditions. theGSF is an all volunteer organization, meaning 100% of your donation goes toward fulfilling our mission.
For every new Facebook fan, we (EatSmartProducts) acquire during the month of August, we will donate 50 cents/follower to The Gwendolyn Strong Foundation. (So spread the word!)
